Microneedling is a non-ablative skin refreshment. It induces new collagen-rich tissue that in turn tightens & firms skin, reducing scars & textural irregularities like stretch marks and fine lines thus improving the overall appearance of your skin. It uses tiny microneedles to refresh skin in the form of controlled skin injury. The minor punctures will help break up pigment caused by sun damage and increase product penetration. The damage stimulates the growth of healthy new skin. For your comfort during the treatment, we may apply a topical anesthetic or inject a local anesthetic. The most common side effects are skin redness and irritation. Microneedling takes multiple sessions for maximum results but gives visible improvement with each session. Generally, we recommend 3-4 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart. Optimal results appear three months after the last treatment.
